Report A

The patient presents on the right and left with an end-to-end Class II molar and canine relationship. At the transverse level, the interarch relationships are within normal limits. The overjet is increased, and the overbite is reduced, resulting in an anterior open bite. The dental midlines are deviated. There is no maxillary crowding, whereas mild to moderate crowding is present in the mandibular arch. The mandibular curve of Spee is within normal limits or slightly reversed, and the mandibular curve of Wilson appears to be within normal limits. All teeth are present in the arches with the exception of the maxillary and mandibular third molars. The presence of a palatal splint extending from tooth 13 to tooth 23 is noted. Restorative treatment appears to be present on teeth 44, 45, 46, 36, 35, 34, 16, 14, 15, 24, and 25. Pigmented fissures are noted on the mandibular second molars; however, it cannot be determined whether these represent caries. No clear picture of gingival inflammation is evident; however, calculus deposits are noted in the mandibular incisor region.

Report B

The patient presents a transverse constriction of the maxilla in the absence of crossbite. From a vertical standpoint, there is a deep bite. Sagittally, there is a full Class II molar and canine relationship on the right and an end-to-end Class II molar and canine relationship on the left, with increased overjet. The dental midlines are deviated relative to each other. The Curve of Spee and the Curve of Wilson are increased. There is mild crowding in the upper arch and moderate crowding in the lower arch.
